As a result of this investment, it now has excess capacity for its own printing and binding, and laminating needs. It is therefore able to offer a printing and binding service, and laminating service to the public. The printing and binding service includes the printing and binding of brochures, dissertations, theses, reports, projects, catalogues and other documents. All types of printing and binding are covered, under this service. These include thermal binding, Ibiclick binding, wire binding, comb binding. Thermal binding covers binding capacity of 2 sheets to 250 sheets, based on 80 grams per square meter (GSM) – i.e. the normal laser or inkjet type paper. The binding capacity will be less for thicker type paper. The binding capacity for comb binding is 500 sheets, based on 80 (GSM). The printing and binding service is based on A4 size sheets. Photo-quality printing is also available on one-sided photo paper or two-sided photo paper. Printing service includes digital photo printing. Printing and Binding - Dissertation Printing and Binding : A User-Friendly Service The binding service is client-friendly, making it easier for you to have zero-disruption in your normal activities. You can simply e-mail us your documents and we will have them printed and bound to your specification and delivered to your homes or offices. We offer a same-day binding service if the printed material is delivered to our Wolverhampton Office and a next day printing and binding service if your file is sent by e-mail. The hard back of Ibiclick, wire and comb binding covers are offered in black (gloss and mat), blue and red. The transparent front covers for Ibiclick, wire and comb binding are either clear or blue. Thermal binding covers are clear front and white back. There is a leather-backed version of the thermal binding covers in red and blue, the front covers being clear. Types of Thermal Binding Covers Used for our Printing and Binding Service, Generally but Dissertation Printing and Binding, Specifically The thermal binding covers are of the highest possible quality, ensuring durability, preventing damage through continuous handling, resisting water penetration. Thermal binding covers for thermal binding up 60-sheet capacity, are available in a distinguished leather-backed finish, with a choice of blue or red colours. We also offer a same-day thermal binding service, to cover your emergency needs. Other types of binding service include Zipper-Click binding, Ibiclick binding, wire binding and Comb Binding. The binding capacity of the Zipper-Click System is 95 sheets (based on 80 g/m2 paper). The binding capacity for the Comb Binding System is 500 sheets (based on 80 g/m2 paper). The binding capacity for the wire binding system is 145 sheets (based on 80 g/m2 paper). Laminating Service: Another Aspect of Our Printing and Binding Service, Generally The laminating service is offered on a same-day service and is based on the following specifications: Other specifications are available but an additional day will be added to the lead-time. Digital Photo Printing, as Part of our Printing and Binding Service In our digital Photo Printing Service, we transfer images from any digital equipment, to our print sources for the best images possible. Facilities are in place for infra-red, e-mail, texts, multi-media and other forms of transfers. These are then printed on premium quality photo paper, of matt or gloss structure. Borders or any specification are incorporated, to the best finishing touch. For thesis printing and binding, we check the accuracy of page elements, to ensure the correct printer setting is used.
We use thermal binding, with PVC or leather covers; zipper-click binding, Ibiclick binding, comb binding, wire binding. For an additional charge, we can have your documents proof read before printing and binding them. Like thesis printing and binding, in dissertation printing and binding, we ensure that your graphics, including tabled, graphs and charts are positioned correctly on each page before printing and binding takes place. We also undertake biding of pre-printed documents, including thesis, dissertations, projects, projects, brochures, manuals. We offer a same-day printing and binding service. Documents for printing and binding can be sent by e-mail. After printing and binding, they will be returned directly to you. Our printing and binding facilities can accommodate documents of up to 500 pages. However, thermal binding is limited to 250 pages.
